DerDieDas Inc. Code of Conduct
Introduction
This Code encompasses a set of agreed principles that all individuals engaged with DerDieDas Inc., in any capacity, will adhere to when representing or acting on behalf of the organisation.
All individuals engaged with DerDieDas Inc., in any capacity*, shall
-
place the interests of the organisation over their own interests or of those of any other person(s);

act in line with the vision and purpose of the organisation;

comply with the Privacy Act (1988) (Cth) by adhering to the National Privacy Principles
-
adhere to and enforce the organisation’s Child Safe Standards, and report any breaches and suspected breaches by completing the DerDieDas Child Safe Reporting Form;

treat other members of the organisation, staff, office-bearers, and children and their families with respect;

undertake any training necessary for the performance of their duties;
-
in any work carried out for the organisation, follow the directions of their designated supervisors;

refrain from activities that could bring the organisation or its mission into disrepute
In addition to the above, staff and contractors shall
-
carry out the duties specified by their service agreements;
In addition to the above, office-bearers and ordinary committee members shall
-
attend all committee meetings, and, in the event that they are prevented from attending any meetings, notify the Secretary of their absence in advance of the meeting;

devote to their duties the amount of time required to carry them out thoroughly and effectively;

carry out enthusiastically and competently the duties assigned to the position;
All breaches and suspected breaches of the DerDieDas Code of Conduct must be reported to the Management Committee either via email to DerDieDas.HR@gmail.com or by speaking with the respective DerDieDas Program Group coordinator / a DerDieDas Management Committee Member.
