About the event
Join us for a hands-on workshop where parents create a traditional German Schultüte (school cone) for their child. A cherished part of the first day of school in Germany, the Schultüte is filled with small gifts and treats to celebrate this special milestone. We'll provide the materials (excluding fillings) and guidance—you'll leave with a unique, handmade Schultüte ready for your child's big day.
Included:
Basic materials (cardboard, crepe paper, glue, pompoms, coloured paper, ribbons, paper punches in various shapes) to create your own Schultüte (ca. 80cm long)
Instruction and assistance to help you in your creation
A little surprise to help you get started filling your Schultüte
Ideas for more fillings
Drinks (tea, coffee, water) and snacks
What you need to bring:
Accessories for decorating your Schultüte with a specific theme (stickers, templates/stencils, etc.)
Scissors, long ruler, glue gun and cutter (if available)
