About the event
Family Walk & Picnic in the Royal Botanic Garden Cranbourne
During the school holidays, we'll explore the Royal Botanic Garden Cranbourne together and then enjoy a relaxing picnic at the nature playground. Please bring something for our picnic. A relaxing day full of nature, exercise, and fun for the whole family. The park is family-friendly, stroller-accessible, and admission is free. If you'd like, you can also pick up a Seek & Find card at the visitor centre. We're excited to see what we discover! Join in with the fun!
If you'd prefer to come directly to the playground, following our rough schedule (depending on how quickly we walk with the children):
10:00 - Meet in front of the visitor centre - If you like, you can pick up Seek & Find cards at the visitor centre.
10:15 - Australian Garden Loop Walk (1.75km - 2.4km circular route)
Approx. 12:00 - Meet at the Woodland Picnic Area and nature playground for playing and picnicking (approx. 600m from the visitor centre or 400m from the parking lot)
